Drop in to the Open House for a cup of organic hot chocolate while you review the draft strategy and learn how you can take action on sustainability.

The completion of the sustainability strategy is really only the beginning. The key goal of the strategy is that it inspires new programs, policies, partnerships and technologies that will ultimately contribute to a highly sustainable region.

60 people came out for the event held at the Comox Recreation Centre.
Mark Holland presented on the goals, objectives and targets in the current version of the draft sustainability strategy.

Thank you for attending the October 2, 2008 Public Open House.

90 people came out for the Launch event held at the Mark Islfeld high school on October 2. Participants heard a presentation providing an overview of the Comox Valley Sustainability Strategy project and worked in small groups to generate initial ideas on how the Comox Valley will address global trends and move towards a sustainable future.
